Mehendi cermony is wedding event in India ,Its is held before marriage event which take place in booth bride and groom place .In india mehendi ceremony is commonly know as mehendi ki raat .Mehendi is applied on hands and feet of the bride in very ancient or exclusive design .Indian wedding is incomplete with out mehendi ki raat . On this event all friends n family member are invited to bride home .House is fully decorated with lights and flowers We’ll have some delicious Indian food catered, great bhangra and bollywood music and two mehendi artists to apply henna designs to the hands and feet of our female guests.
Event start with music and dancing all ladies have to apply little bit of mehendi on bride hands as there blessings. Bride apply mehendi at very first as her mehendi take too much of time due to design and it cover arms too. However according to Indian wedding rites there are many reason behind applying mehendi to bride. It is associated with lots of things like a good dark color of mehendi on bride hands is a sign of good luck for married couple .The name of groom is hidden into hands of bride and tradition is that groom have to find his name on bride hands. The mehendi celebration is a really exciting way to begin the wedding festivities and get everyone in the spirit. Traditional wedding songs are sung by Indian ladies.

1) Bride should always apply mehendi before other guest.
2) Bride should take her meal before this event because after that she can’t eat as her hands are occupied.
3) Good and dark color is symbol of happy married life.
4) Groom name is hidden in the hands of bride.
5) For good henna color bride can take smoke of log.
6) Always apply lemon and sugar mixture on the mehendi so that henna stay over your hand.
7) For good color you can also apply mustard oil after you remove henna.
Don’t remove henna with water .Try to remove by rubbing hands or with knife.
9) Never was your hand on day you apply henna (maximum 4 hours).
10) Bride should wear clothes which are comfortable as henna is applied hands and feet too.these clothes are given to some servant as a traditional rites.
