All u need is for mehendi paste-:
1)Heena powder
2)Eucalyptus oil (or) Mehndi oil,
3)Tamarind paste (strained),
4)Sugar and lemon
5)Water
6)Mehendi cone
How to prepare mehendi paste?
Henna powder
Henna, a powder obtained from the crushed leaves of the traditional Indian plant ‘Lawsonia Inermis’. This plant contains Lawsonia, pure natural substance which produces red colour that not only colours ‘hair’ but also the nails, fingers, palms and soles. The leaves and seeds of the plants possess medicinal properties. It leaves hair shiny and smooth. Since time immemorial Henna is adorned by Indian women on their feet and hands. It protects skin from diseases.
Eucalyptus oil (or) Mehndi oil,
Mehendi oil is made up of euclyptus .It gives color to mehendi.before applying mehendi oil is applies to hands or feet.
Tamarind paste (strained),
Tamarid paster is also added to give bright color to mehendi.
Sugar & lemon
Mixtiure of sugar an dlemon in prepared to apply on mehendi .It is apply on when mehendi dries it help mehendi to stay long .
Water.
Mehendi powder and all other ingrediant are mixed water to prepare mehendi paste .
Mehendi cone
Mehendi paste is filled in mehendi cone.
Note-: Add 5 drops of eucalyptus oil (or) mehndioil, strained tamarind paste, 2 pinches of sugar & tea (or) water to the henna powder. Mix this into a fine paste. Keep the paste covered for atleast 2 or 3 hrs for the dye to develop.
