This implies that any problems with the marriage are because the man didn't give the woman what she wanted. What about what he wants? If the marriage is a partnership with both parties working on it (which I think would be ideal), shouldn't she try to give him what he wants too? Every list like this I've seen on the internet takes this same approach. Give the woman what she wants, it doesn't matter what the guy wants or needs. Believe me, I know from experience, that any guy that takes number 3 to heart without the woman trying to do the same thing, will end up filled with resentment. I take issue with number 3.
