Since marriage lasts a lifetime in my land, we believe it should take longer then the 4 hours that other cultures find acceptable.  My name is Shilpz,  I recently got married and had a beautiful wedding ceremony.  Something that will be remembered for the rest of my life.  To someone not from India our customs and traditions might seem silly and last too long.  But if you continue to read my website you will see and learn about how beautiful our traditions are, and how sacred marriage is to us.
