Wedding ring is symbol of two soul getting together by means of wedding . I always wonder why the wedding ring worn in fourth finger???. You wont believe this question revolving around my mind till the time when my would be hubby was wearing me wedding ring….I was knowing this that wedding ring is worn in left hand, SO no wonder i gave my left hand to my hubby yeah i m serious i google it once twice & thrice but i do not get answer to my question .But my research to it not ended till the time i dnt get answer why fourth finger ?????

Guys i tell you why wedding ring is worn in fourth finger of left hand. Wedding ring mantra is fourth finger of left hand nerve is connected to our heart as we all know heart is symbol of love .It is also said that Fourth (Ring) finger represents your Life Partner.

Firstly, open your palms (face to face), bend the middle fingers and hold them together – back to back.

Secondly, open and hold the remaining three fingers and the thumb – tip to tip. (As shown in the figure above)

Now, try to separate your thumbs (representing the parents)…, they will open, because your parents are not destined to live with you lifelong, and have to leave you sooner or later.

Please join your thumbs as before and separate your Index fingers (representing siblings)…., they will also open, because your brothers and sisters will have their own families and will have to lead their own separate lives.

Now join the Index fingers and separate your Little fingers (representing your children)…., they will open too, because the children also will get married and settle down on their own some day.

Finally, join your Little fingers, and try to separate your Ring fingers (representing your spouse). You will be surprised to see that you just CANNOT….., because Husband & Wife have to remain together all their lives – through thick and thin!!

The mandap or wedding pavilion are major part of Indian wedding.Most essential ceremony of Indian wedding take place under the wedding pavilion or mandap.wedding mandap is well decorated with beautiful colored flowers.A sacred structure supported by four pillars under which the bride and groom are seated and exchange their wedding vows.The four-pillared structure is said to represents the four Vedas as well as the four goals of a fulfilled Hindu life (Dharma, Artha, Kama, Moksha). The symbolism of the mandap goes further with each pillar being understood to represent the four parents of the couple, without whose support, love and blessings, the marriage would not have come to take place.

My wedding mandap was decorated with sky blue an white colored combination.My wedding color theme was also same so we followed same as for mandap and trust me it vows me and everybody else

All u need is for mehendi paste-:

1)Heena powder

2)Eucalyptus oil (or) Mehndi oil,

3)Tamarind paste (strained),

4)Sugar and lemon

5)Water

6)Mehendi cone

How to prepare mehendi paste?

Henna powder

Henna, a powder obtained from the crushed leaves of the traditional Indian plant ‘Lawsonia Inermis’. This plant contains Lawsonia, pure natural substance which produces red colour that not only colours ‘hair’ but also the nails, fingers, palms and soles. The leaves and seeds of the plants possess medicinal properties. It leaves hair shiny and smooth. Since time immemorial Henna is adorned by Indian women on their feet and hands. It protects skin from diseases.

Eucalyptus oil (or) Mehndi oil,

Mehendi oil is made up of euclyptus .It gives color to mehendi.before applying mehendi oil is applies to hands or feet.

Tamarind paste (strained),

Tamarid paster is also added to give bright color to mehendi.

Sugar & lemon

Mixtiure of sugar an dlemon in prepared to apply on mehendi .It is apply on when mehendi dries it help mehendi to stay long .

Water.

Mehendi powder and all other ingrediant are mixed water to prepare mehendi paste .

Mehendi cone

Mehendi paste is filled in mehendi cone.

Note-: Add 5 drops of eucalyptus oil (or) mehndioil, strained tamarind paste, 2 pinches of sugar & tea (or) water to the henna powder. Mix this into a fine paste. Keep the paste covered for atleast 2 or 3 hrs for the dye to develop.

How to apply mehendi(heena)

Mehendi is a traditional body art. It is mainly applied to enhance the beauty of a person. Even though it can beapplied on arms, wrists, biceps, legs & other parts of the body .Now mehendi is applied with help of cone made up of plastic sheet,which are as similar as cake decorating tubes .Readymade cones of mehendi(heena) are available in market.Mehendi is also applies with the help of tooth pick or needle but creativie designer use cones to apply good designs.Brides apply mehendi on there wedding ,they apply heena /mehendi on ther efeets n arms .Mehendi is applied on mehendi raat ceremony.

Steps to apply mehendi (heena)

1)Make a smooth henna paste by sifting the dry mehndi / henna powder to remove any debris and adding to it a hot mixture of tea or coffee and mustard oil until it has a mud-like firmness.

2)After the paste is ready take a plastic cone with a very fine key-hole at the end. Pour the paste into the cone and tie the broader end with a rubber band.

3)Hold the cone in the right hand and gently squeeze the paste on the palm and start making patterns.

4)Keep the palm horizontal and let the patterned-paste rest on it till dry.

5)Warm it near the fire and leave it on for as long as it takes to get the stains deeper.

6)When it is almost dry, dab a piece of cotton in sugar and lemon solution and apply lightly on the designs so it further darkens to a reddish-brown hue that can last for weeks.

7)After 2-4 hours wash off the hands with plain water.
