Indian wedding is not just a cup of tea it not about two person are getting together .but it also establishes the bond between two families and their cultures. The marriage ceremony is a colorful and joyous event, which is spread over a couple of days. It is a large gathering of family, friends and relatives grooms friends an all other relative accommodate at wedding venue.He sits on a decorated horse. But nowadays people prefer to travel by decorated luxury car because of the distance and traffic rule on the road.all the relatives and friends dance on beat of dhol n bollywood music Punjabi king off,till the barat reaches wedding venue all the relative perform dance and celebrate. Once barat reaches to wedding venue bride family member welcome tehm with flowergralands and spring rose water this is called milni .The mother of the bride performs a ritual known as Aarti before the groom. It is after this ritual that the members in the Wedding Barat enter the house or the venue.Bride sister welcome groom (usulayy ribbion is cut then groom is allowed to enter ).The barati who comes in the procession are garlanded and seated. Cold drinks, snacks, and sweets are offered to them. They are also invited for dinner as the guests of bride’s parents. All the expenses of the barat reception, marriage ceremony and the dinner etc. are born by bride’s parents in most of the cases.

Now a days grooom  choose nice decorated car but many go for horse these days,good band and dhol is hired ,giving it an extravagant look. Fireworks are lit as the Wedding Barat approaches the wedding venue.

As barat reaches bride is ask to see the barat from far as it sogn of good luck for her future life

In this ceremony all the invites assemble at one place where groom dress up in traditional dress n ready to leave for wedding ,The groom’s bhabi lines his eyes with surma (kohl). After this, the groom’s sisters and cousins feed and decorate his mare. If the groom chooses to use a car for the occasion, then the car is decorated. His relatives use cash for the varna, a ceremony that is supposed to ward off the evil eye. The cash is given away to the poor.godi is well decorated .uswally it is seen groom nephew or little kid is sit with groom on godi(horse) n all invitesdance on beat of dhol
