Pag phera is one of post wedding ceremonies which is followed in all indian weddings.According to old tradition bride stay at there parental home for some days . Saatpheras ceremony is held after reception (barat) take place and it is in bride house .Saat phera is usually held in open area according to rituals as it is said phera take place under stars .Mandap is well decorated with four pillars .It is usually made of bamboo and is decorated with red and silver colors. The four pillars of the mandap signify the parents on both sides, which toiled hard to bring their children up. The mandap ceremony usually takes place at the house of the bride or otherwise it is held at the wedding venue itself. All the rituals during the mandap ceremony are performed in front of the sacred fire and hymns recited by the priest, from Vedas. The main rituals conducted here are Saat Phere, Kanyadaan, Maang baharai etc. mandap ceremony start and bride n groom knot is tied it symbolize that they are together now for life long ,seven pledge are taken by both of them for properous lfe father of bride also perform rituals like kanyadan kanyadan means father is now ready to trie knot betwenn bride n groom and give them blessing for long life toughener ,traditionally it is said that kanyadan is great rituals person how does kanyadan go to heaven after death .priest follow some mantras which fullfills this ceremony ,In this ceremony groom first tie mangalsutra in bride neck which means she is now his bride and ceremony ended with mangbahrana and know bride n groom are married and finally they take blessing from there parents for future life .
